Nice turn out seeing as the weather was looking a bit wet. And those who thought it would rain all the way round!!!
It was warm and dry.

For the first 5 miles lol
ended up 20 miles in the end, not sure how that happened but every one seamed to enjoying despite being the muddyest ride I have had in a long time.
The 3 pints and bacon a brie baggetts in the pub afterwards really helped.
Cheers for coming along. so where to next?

Martyn - many thanks for a really good ride last night. Sorry to bale out before the pub, but being so wet and muddy, and with gears not operating properly and mud in my eye, I really couldn't face riding straight past my house and on to the Hand, only to have to ride back again afterwards.

The hot shower was much appreciated, but not so sure my wife felt the same about the muddy pile of clothes on the floor.

Hope to be out with you again in the coming weeks - a warm and sunny summer evening is surely just around the corner !

Thanks for your company lads - Rob

Cheers for the ride . Good to go some where new. All made a bit more interesting when it got dark and me not having any lights! I've now got a rain coat in my pack ready for the next ride , just cause its sunny at home dosen't mean its going to stay that way  !
