Hi All

Thursday's ride will be from the Tunstall Green Car Park on the B1078. Leave Tunstall and drive towards Orford. The car park is on the left after the heath. TM381545.

Might see you in the forest tomorrow as I intend to knock out a couple of dozen miles during the morning as a bit of Wales training.

Arrived 15 mins late assumed Caro had gone to another car park so set off along the undulateing mid escarpment route parallel to the Tunstall Green /Orford Rd.

Got to FR22 worked east to the pit and started back across a higher route. Found a jump and real precipidous drop on what I suspect is Sick Rick but the drops around there are in two shapes--the rain has taken the surface off one side and left the other a masses of shalley stones or hard. Where it had driven the sand from under the jump and in the dips that someone had created it was even dangerous to push the bike as it was deep mush or straight down.

I loved getting lost again and joining up more west /east routes. i'd have like to have gone more SE/NW but didn't get near enough the back of the field opposite Fazebons.

I did see one lone MTB er in green/blue at about 2 pm in the Tunstall green car park. He cycled straight over into the Chillesford side of the Forest. Sorry I didn't recognise you as I say to swimmers I've taught its difficult to recognise you with your clothes on, or in this case with dark glasses on.
